Peanut poem (my dog)

The Brown, black spots on its face

The clear white on its body, on its tail, on its leg

The barking, reflecting off the glass table, the fast quick quiet footsteps

The clean glass table reflecting peanut and me

How did he escape?

The happy, playful feeling when I am with him and the sad, crying feeling without him going to the ground

The sad, crying felling without him slamming my fist back and forth

The crying sensation when he died.

    Hey Ryan,
I really liked your poem…you really expressed your emotions when talking about Peanut. He sounded like a great dog. I really liked the line “The barking, reflecting off the glass table, the fast quick quiet footsteps” I didn’t expect it and it sounded awesome. Good job.

    Hi ryan
This is a good poem. I got a good picture of what your dog looks like! And then it was sad when he died 🙁 .
this poem has a real emotional wave to it.
But you did a good job!
